A late and short edition due to last week's annual leave…

Good People

Even though it was a short week, I managed to squeeze in lots of good chats. A conversation about ethics with Leanne is always nourishing. Jo and I talked about how blurry the phases of agile delivery can be; she also had me dreaming of camping trips in a rainy Cornwall.

Good Work

I lurked in a co-design workshop with one of our teams working with Homes England — huge credit to all involved but particularly Beth and Leanne for planning and facilitating a session that had all participants super-engaged.

Good Stories

Three days off work included a trip to Colchester Zoo (I finally got a gold membership, I can now just pop along and tickle a goat whenever I fancy), an overnight stay at The Oaksmere, and jaunts to Dunwich, Aldeburgh, Norwich and a few laps on the go-karts in Ipswich.

Colchester Zoo. I love it 💚
The friary at Dunwich, Snooks, compulsory Aldeburgh chippy lunch.

An unexpected side effect of writing weeknotes: As I'm constantly evaluating all the things I do during the week for inclusion in my notes, it's making me appreciate the small details of my work much more than before. The days just feel fuller, in a good way.
