About
I'm a designer and design leader with 26 years of experience working on digital services and the teams that build them.
For the past 12 years I've worked mainly in the public sector, applying Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and a test-and-learn approach to every project.
I've worked across the public, private and charity sectors, mostly on services where getting it right for users actually matters.
I've hired, managed and developed design teams, and worked directly with clients and delivery partners to ship things that hold up.
Experience
- Public sector projects: Over 12 years designing and leading digital services for central and local government, with a good understanding of GDS standards and accessibility requirements.
- Design leadership: Built and led multidisciplinary teams across government, private and charity sectors. Comfortable with strategy, but hands-on when it matters.
- Managing, coaching and mentoring: Genuinely invested in the development of designers. I care about creating conditions where people do their best work.
